Cleveland Metroparks Zoo
Pay a visit to the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo and be astounded by the range of creature -- more than 3,000 to be exact.  With more than 600 species in the zoo, as well as the largest collection of primate species in North America, this zoo is dedicated to saving animals and their habitats around the globe. 

Berlin

Or there is Schrock's Amish Farm & Home where you can take an Amish buggy ride, visit Alma's Kitchen, enjoy the petting zoo, or make plans to take a guided Amish Home Tour.

First Ladies National Historic Site, Canton
Two properties, the home of First Lady Ida Saxton McKinley and the seven-story 1895 City National Bank Building, are preserved at this site, which honors the lives and accomplishments of First Ladies throughout history. The site is managed by the National Park Service and operated by the National First Ladies' Library.

Sugarcreek
Sugarcreek is known as "Ohio's Little Switzerland," and it's also home to the Alpine Hills Historical Museum, Swiss Village Quilts & Crafts, and the Swiss Village Market. Don't miss the little Swiss train that runs in and out of the top of the bank building.

Spring Hill Historic Home, Massillon
The Spring Hill Historic Home was built in the 1820s for Thomas and Charity Rotch. During the tour, you'll see the house with the Rotch's original furnishings, a springhouse, smokehouse, wool-house, and milkhouse. Used as a station on the Underground Railroad, this site also includes sheep, vintage gardens, carriages, and a nature path. Hocking Hills State Park, Wadsworth
Towering cliffs, waterfalls and deep hemlock-shaded gorges lure the hiker and naturalist at this Ohio park. Take a hike to Conkles Hollow, Rock House, and Old Mans Cave or spend your time fishing and swimming.

Ohio and the Indiana & Ohio Scenic Railway, Mason
Enjoy a 45-minute ride through the Ohio country side on this old-fashioned railway!  You'll ride in an old-style passenger car on the scenic excursion (it's a two hour round trip) . You can also schedule one of their dining, ice cream, mystery, or Santa tours. (State Route 741 S, 513-398-5743)

Cleveland
Start your Cleveland visit with a ride aboard Lolly the Trolley.  By the time you reach the end of the Historic City Tour, you'll have seen over 100 points of interest. For a bird' eye view of the city, head to the 42nd floor of Terminal Tower. Another fun outdoor stop is the Cleveland Botanical Gardens, where you can visit the display gardens and get advice on horticulture, landscaping, and floral design.
